The Role:

The Insights team is an integral and fast expanding department within Bally’s Interactive. As a Graduate Insight Analyst, you will continuously work with multiple teams, and across many areas, to optimise market share and create a thrilling experience for our players. With an abundance of data at our exposal our analysts strive to provide the business with actionable recommendations through a vast number of analytical tools.

We pride ourselves on giving our analysts the freedom to explore new software and analytical techniques to produce the best analysis possible. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always at hand to provide guidance, brainstorm ideas and help teach new concepts.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in the casino industry with an understanding of areas such as responsible gaming, bonus abuse, marketing campaigns and casino products. Experience with analytics tools such as Excel, R and Google Big Query are beneficial but not essential.

Key accountabilities:

  • Working in collaboration with all multiple areas of the business to identify opportunities for Bally’s Interactive to grow.
  • Understanding the business, especially games and marketing, to ensure analytical needs are met.
  • Pro-actively analysing data from multiple sources to provide actionable insight.
  • Thinking creatively to get ahead of the curve and improve business and product operations.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor innovations.
  • To keep open and continue communications with your manager and your team with regard to workload and projects.
  • Communicating findings confidently and coherently to drive change.
  • Regularly keeping an eye on Bally’s Interactive’s core KPIs.
  • Share knowledge with the team and the rest of the business.

The person:

As a graduate in an analytical discipline we expect you to be a logical yet creative thinker with good communication skills to help you excel in this role. An interest in the gambling market is ideal for this role. You will be self-motivated with the desire to find and solve real business problems and confident in delivering your findings to multiple stakeholders across business departments.

This role reports into one of our Insight Managers based in the London office. The role will range from looking into and improving promotional campaigns, looking into the release of new products, such as games and features, through to developing statistical models to enhance player experience and journeys.

At the heart of it this role is to help the business better understand the players’ wants and needs.
